Join us for a fun Earth Day Trivia on Earth Day, April 22nd, 2021, and learn some new facts about our amazing planet! This Trivia will be hosted by Jerry, a retired professional photographer and trivia expert who is a resident from one of our communities. A trivia answer sheet will be provided before the event.
There will be a prize for the trivia winner!

Jerry Poppenhouse
Jerry served in the US Navy for four years before attending the Kansas City Art Institute where he received his BFA degree. Jerry had a twenty-eight year career with Phillips Petroleum Company as a corporate photographer, designer and cinematographer. His assignments took him to the far corners of the world. After his corporate career he became the Director of Publications for Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology in Okmulgee for two years before teaching photography and graphic design in the Visual Communication Department until retiring in 2005. He has articles about his National Geographic style photography in various prominent magazines and has hosted exhibitions around the United States. In his retirement, he conducts photography workshops in Oklahoma, Missouri, Arizona, Illinois and New Mexico and enjoys creating fact-filled, fun trivia quizzes on various seasonal topics.
