However, sometimes things get stuck and toxins hang out in there. That’s right – even if you’re leading a healthy lifestyle, toxins can still find their way into our bodies from the air we breathe and the water we drink.

That’s where body detox comes in! It’s like a reset button, clearing out waste and toxins, helping you feel lighter and healthier. Think of it as a friendly way to support your health and maintain a happy digestive system. No need to worry; it’s as simple as drinking and visiting the bathroom. It’s not a cure-all, but when combined with a healthy lifestyle, it can contribute to your well-being.

A simple and effective way to kickstart a body detox is by drinking plenty of water—aim for 6-8 glasses a day. Often, we forget the importance of staying hydrated, and this oversight can lead to the accumulation of toxins in the body and weight gain. Staying hydrated is a natural and essential way to flush out toxins. 

Of course, water alone won’t do the trick. When it comes to natural body detox, what you eat plays a big role. To cleanse your body, focus on foods rich in vitamins and minerals and low in fat. Eating seven fruits and veggies daily can help detoxify your system. Consider adding fish, blueberries, cranberries, and leafy greens to your diet—they’re packed with nutrients that support good health.

You can easily make your own detox drinks at home. For any home body detox, or just to stay properly hydrated in general, it is important to use purified water. Below are 3 easy and delicious recipes that will help you clean out your digestive system and make you feel better going into the new year.

Lemon water with pepper is one of the easiest home cleansing remedies. This is good not only for the colon, but for the entire digestive system. Making sure to drink extra water after will help flush the mixture into your system.

Green tea is one of the key components when it comes to weight loss through body detox. This is a pleasant tasting drink and will not only help to relax you, but will also cleanse out your body and help your heart.  

The tropical detox works slower than the other drinks, but works well to cleanse out the digestive tract as well as provide essential nutrients for the heart and immune system.
