4 Pillars of Wellness: Elevating Energetic Health

Share this Post:

As you probably remember by now, there are 4 Pillars of Wellness:

  • Mental
  • Emotional
  • Physical
  • Energetic

We’ve been over the pillars of mental wellness, emotional wellness, and physical wellness in previous posts.

We are down to the final pillar – energetic wellness!

Energetic wellness is simply defined as “a positive vibrational energy.”

Now, even though this one has a short definition, it is a little trickier to describe and maintain.

We aren’t talking about physical energy, but vibrational energy.

All things in the universe – be it a bird flapping its wings or the chair you’re sitting in – vibrate with a certain energy.

The energy of the people and things around you can affect your energetic wellness.

When you see a depressing or violent news story, you get a heavy feeling caused by low-frequency vibrations.

When you see a child cuddling a puppy, you feel a warmth inside caused by high-frequency vibrations.

There is a direct correlation between feelings and vibrations.

Daily habits for energetic wellness

Albert Einstein once said, “Everything in life is vibration.” And, well, he was a genius.

Everything you encounter has its own vibrations that can affect how you feel.

And while the idea of vibrational energy might sound a bit fantastical, it is a very real thing that we should try to promote and protect.

There are some simple things we can do every day to keep our energetic wellness up.

  • Make a habit of shifting your attitude towards gratitude and acknowleding things you are thankful for, no matter how small.
  • Take deep breaths when you first wake up, before you go to sleep, and any time you face a stressful situation.
  • Soak up some sunshine every day – it will help your body produce vitamin D, plus help boost your mood and immune system.
  • Spend some time away from technology, particularly in your bedroom before you go to sleep.
  • Create a regular sleep routine and make sure to get adequate sleep each night since that is when your body repairs and rejuvenates.

When your energy is vibrating at low levels, you might feel sad, heavy, or confused. But when your energy is vibrating high, you will feel lighter, happier, and more at ease.

Quick workout to pump up energetic wellness

Any time you feel positive feelings, like those that accompany the release of the feel-good hormones (serotonin, oxytocin, & dopamine), your energy vibrates at a higher frequency, adding a boost to your mood and vibrational attractivity.

The following quick workout helps to release negative energy and allow for the flow of positivity throughout your body and your day!

Make sure you have a glass of water nearby and let’s go!
